Detailed Itinerary for the 4 Days Queen Elizabeth Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Queen Elizabeth National Park via road transfer
On the first day of your 4-day safari, go on a 7-8 hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park from the Hotel in Kampala. First receive briefing and introduction from the private guide before heading towards the Kampala-Mityana-Mubende-Fort Portal road.
Enjoy photography and lunch en-route before arriving the Park in the evening. Start spotting Cape buffaloes, Defassa waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Topis, African bush elephants and many others while driving to the Lodge. Settle for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 2: Game viewing tour & Boat ride on Kazinga Channel
Start experiencing the natural beauty and diversity of Queen Elizabeth National Park this day with game drives and boat rides. The day starts off with breakfast at the Lodge, before hopping onto the safari vehicle.
Come across lions, bushbucks, Uganda Kobs, Oribis, African bush elephants, common warthogs, Defassa waterbucks, Olive baboons, spotted hyenas, leopards, to mention but a few. Have 3-4 hours of this game-filled drive before settling for lunch and having siesta at the Lodge.
In the afternoon continue to Mweya jetty for the start of your boat ride through Kazinga Channel with hope of seeing Hippos and Nile crocodiles as well as elephants and buffaloes. See the colorful bird species during the boat ride and have dinner at the Lodge.

Day 3: Trekking for chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge and community tour.
Continue to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park, through a chimpanzee trekking venture within Kyambura Gorge.
With packed lunch and drinking water meet with Rangers at the Gorge before starting to search for the Great Apes in their natural habitat. Take 1-4 hours searching for chimpanzees in the underground forest then have one hour watching and taking photos.
After having lunch, continue to the Kasoga Community to learn about the impacts of tourism on the people and settle for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
