Detailed Itinerary of the 6 Days Kenya Safari

Day 1: Nairobi City/Airport-Masai Mara National Reserve

Meet and greet with your private safari driver is on arrival into Kenya or at the place of lodging in Nairobi City. After the moment of acquaintanceship and briefing, leave Nairobi City behind and drive southwest to Masai Mara National Reserve.

The journey starts by 7:00am and goes through the Great Rift Valley area where you will have the first stop for photography as well as get a chance to appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature. Continue further with the journey, arriving the safari destination by afternoon for lunch at the reserved Kenya Safari Camp. Settle in, have lunch and relax till evening when your first game drive is scheduled.

Masai Mara National Reserve is popular for its wide array of wildlife species such as lions, Masai giraffes, yellow baboons, leopards, warthogs, African bush elephants, Defassa waterbucks, Cape buffaloes, bushbucks, impalas, wildebeests, Grant’s zebras, warthogs, gazelles, lesser kudu, Roan antelopes and many others, some of which will be encountered during this game drive. Views of Klipspringers, cheetahs, gazelles, leopards, jackals, lions, black rhinos, African bush elephants, jackals, Defassa waterbucks, Hippos, Dik-dik, Roan antelopes, bushbucks and many others are expected during this wildlife viewing experience.

Not to miss out on any minute during the activity, picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the middle of the wilderness and the game drive continues until evening when you get back to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Incredible Masai Mara National Reserve-secluded Lake Nakuru National Park

Our next destination is Lake Nakuru National Park, home to the lesser and greater flamingos found within the Great Rift Valley floor.

The day also starts early with sumptuous breakfast followed by the long drive with more views of animals- lions, Klipspringers, Dik-diks, cheetahs, zebras, gazelles, leopards, jackals, Roan antelopes, black rhinos, African bush elephants, jackals, Defassa waterbucks and many others while exiting Masai Mara National Reserve.

Receive an animal-filled welcome and continue to the Lodge/Camp for lunch. Your next two nights will be spent here and option of birding, game viewing and hiking among others.

After this drive, be prepared for another long drive to Amboseli National Park, where views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro will be enjoyed. Spend the rest of this day relaxing at the Lodge after lunch, while waiting to be treated to a candle-lit dinner then overnight.

While on the game drive, enjoy the far-flung views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch will be at the Safari Camp/Lodge and this take you to the next activity of the day-visit to Masai village/community.
