After a hearty breakfast at your Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, it is time to meet with your private safari driver to embark on the fun day of discovering the beauty of the beautiful Town of Entebbe.

The guide will take you to the pier where you embark on the speedboat for the one-hour ride to Mabamba Bay wetland. When you get there, you will board the canoe for the ride through the Papyrus swamp while encountering different bird species.

The highlight of this ride is meeting the iconic shoebill storks alongside the Papyrus gonolek, Goliath heron, Cattle and black egrets, African and lesser jacana, Orange weavers, Black crakes, giant kingfisher, African skimmer, white-winged terns, and so much more. From here, you will continue to the Hotel for lunch and short rest.

Entebbe Botanical GardensIn the afternoon, you will take a guided tour through Entebbe Botanical Gardens, the huge area of natural vegetation, established in 1898.
