Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of 325 square kilometers between the Great Rift Valley as well as the beautiful Lake Manyara. The Park is a stronghold of the tree climbing lions in Tanzania but travellers are also introduced to high populations of Plains zebras, yellow baboons, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles, cheetahs, honey badgers, bushbucks, Cape buffaloes, impalas, Masai giraffes, Hippos, Defassa waterbucks, spotted hyenas, African golden cats, common warthogs, serval cats, black-backed jackals, leopards, African wild cats, Reedbucks, African bush elephants, Mongoose, African civets, bat-eared foxes and lions among others.
Serengeti National Park is one of Tanzania’s iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites situated in the north of the country and covers about 5700 square miles. The Protected Area is haven to the Great annual migration involving over 2 million wildebeests, gazelles and zebras.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is 809,440 hectares of highland savannah plains, forests and woodlands, famous for sheltering the World’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera. Detailed Itinerary for 8 Days Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Hotel Pick-up and road trip to Tarangire National Park
Our guests are picked up from the Hotel in Arusha by 8:00am and taken to one of Tanzania’s outstanding safari destinations. The 2850-square kilometer Tarangire National Park is widely known for its diverse and spectacular landscape that comprises of 9 vegetation types.
The main watering points including Tarangire River offer shelter to Grant’s gazelles, impalas, African bush elephants, lions, Masai giraffes, leopards, zebras, Banded mongoose, wildebeests, cheetahs and Dik-dik among others. Arrive on-time to have lunch and thereafter go an afternoon game drive before proceeding to the booked place of lodging.

Day 2: Short journey across the beautiful Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park
After delicious breakfast, embark on a rewarding short journey across the spectacular Great Rift Valley to the famous Lake Manyara National Park for an action-packed game drive.
Even with its small size (32,500 hectares), the Protected Area is marked by jaw-dropping sceneries as well as beautiful landscapes marked by mahogany trees, giant figs and Acacia forest.
These different vegetation types shelter blue monkeys, impalas, yellow baboons, Masai giraffes, Cape buffaloes, African bush elephants and so much more.
Arrive with a game drive along the tranquil shores of Lake Manyara with amazing photographic opportunities. After a well-deserved lunch, be treated to a boat or bike ride with more views and later just relax at the Camp for the rest of the evening.

Day 3: Depart for Serengeti National Park, most famous Park in the country
Start the third day with breakfast and leave towards the popular Serengeti National Park in the north-western side of Tanzania. The drive is undeniably long but is surprisingly filled with phenomenal sceneries along the way and as visitors start approaching the beautiful Serengeti, endless plains will start appearing.
This stunning Protected Area has about 5700 square miles and the largest part of the plains extent into the horizon thus going against visitors’ senses and perception of distances. It is also haven to the Great annual migration involving millions of wildebeests, gazelles and zebras in addition to offering opportunity of coming across cheetahs, spotted hyenas, lions, impalas, leopards, Topis, Kobs, African wild dogs and so much more.

Day 4-5: Have beautiful days to fully explore Serengeti National Park
Travelers have two good days to fully explore the spectacular Serengeti National Park, although with flexibility to choose from a wide range of options.
An early wake-up call will see us have breakfast and embark on a game drive with golden opportunities of seeing cheetahs, common elands, Defassa waterbucks, Dik-dik, Hyraxes, Hippos, Jackson’s hartebeests, leopards, Rhinos, Masai giraffes lions, Steenbok, impalas, Topis, , spotted hyenas and many others.
Instead of undertaking game drives for the two straight days, add some flavor to the safari by enjoying hot air balloon tours, walking safaris and tours to the Masai Village/community to discover the rawness of Africa’s wilderness. Dinner will be served at the same places of lodging as overnight stay.

Day 6: Game Drive and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
To catch the best views, an early rise is recommended so as to catch the best views of nocturnal animals and later witness the best sunrise experiences in Africa.
After the riveting game drive, be treated to brunch at the Camp before leaving for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, an excellent safari destination in the 8 Days Tanzania Safari.
The protected Area is known as the “8th wonder of the Natural World” and offers shelter to wide range of animal species that include black rhinos, Masai giraffes, zebras and so much more. Proceed to the reserved place of lodging in or around Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tours
What a beautiful day! Start with breakfast at the Safari Camp/Lodge and hop into the safari vehicle for a drive down to the Crater floor where incredible views of African bush elephants, black Rhinos, cheetahs, gazelles, jackals, leopards, lions, Masai giraffes, serval cats, spotted hyenas, zebras, Kobs, wildebeests and many others will be offered. Hot lunch will be served at the Safari Camp/Lodge and this allows you to be transferred towards the spectacular Lake Eyasi.

- Midrange: Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge or Sonayi Safari Lodge

Day 8: Tours of Lake Eyasi/Hadzabe Tribe and drive back to Arusha Town
On this day, expect exceptional experiences after breakfast. Be driven to Lake Eyasi area, for fishing excursions and later get a chance to visit the Hadzabe tribe to learn about Traditional nomadic cultures. Later leave for Arusha Town and this marks the end of our 8 Days Tanzania Safari.
