7 Days Gorilla Trek and Wildebeest Migration Safari – Hail Tours

7 Days Gorilla Trek and Wildebeest Migration: This 7 Days Gorilla Trek and Wildebeest Migration Safari includes the indescribable gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and wildebeest migration experience in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Travelers will venture into two countries and Tanzania while ticking off their best highlights trekking and wildebeest migration safaris.

This 7 days is enough to experience two of the World’s top unforgettable wildlife experiences- watching millions of wildebeests accompanied by hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles migrate across the unfenced borders of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

In addition to tracking and watching the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Serengeti National Park in northern Tanzania is where the wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles annually start their long journey into Kenya’s Masai Mara and this always follows rain patterns and pasture growth as it is not a pleasure journey but a search for food and water.

However, it is a spectacle to watch during Hail Tours’ safaris as we make it possible for our visitors to watch this pattern.

For mountain gorilla trekking, Bwindi is one of the four only National Parks offering the experience in the whole World. First, it has the highest concentration of mountain gorillas and secondly, it shelters the highest number of habituated gorilla families.

Best Time for Wildlife Safaris in Africa (Uganda & Tanzania)

The best time to visit Tanzania’s Serengeti is during the Great Migration, particularly June to October, when thousands of wildebeests and zebras cross the Grumeti and Mara rivers, offering incredible wildlife spectacles. The dry season also provides excellent opportunities for game drives as animals gather near water sources.

For gorilla trekking in Uganda, the ideal time is the dry seasons from June to September and December to February. During these months, trails in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest are less muddy, making trekking easier. Both destinations during these periods offer optimal conditions, ensuring unforgettable wildlife encounters and breathtaking safari experiences.
